Sorry to do this.. I try not to leave bad reviews bit in this case I have made an exception. I have bought a few items over the years from them, but the last few items have been unfit for purpose. The wasted money is annoying but the wasted time sourcing more spares is another level of frustrating. The last item I purchased was a door lock mechanism which was unserviceable, but when I went to return it the manager who could refund me was always nowhere to be seen. After 3 trips to the shop I simply gave up and left this review.If they cleaned the place up- it is filthy and disorganised with used parts strewn everywhere- and enacted some quality control and front desk service I imagine they could do very well. I hope to leave a better review in the future.

West Coast Rover has plenty of 2nd hand parts for the D1 & D2. If not in stock, he is very helpful and will get whatever you need ordered in for a better price compared to ebay, and most other overseas suppliers. e.g a fuel pump for a D2 V8 for 30% less compared to other supplies.

Booked my Discovery V8 in to have new starter motor fitted as it had really stubborn bolts ceasing it on and the guys at West Coast Rover had it all fixed in the hour. Great mechanics they know ther stuff and I will be taking my Land Rover back to them next time for sure

We have been to West Coast Rover many times and have always found that nothing is too much trouble and Peter will go out of his way to make sure he gets your Rover back on the road in good order asap.

After giving written detail on what was required and wasn't required, they did what i requested not to and charged for it accordingly; when I questioned the integrity of doing so, Peter lost it and became abusive and disrespectful. Clearly he is always right and anyone who disagrees is always wrong. He also made incorrect diagnostics which led to a potential life threatening hazard; fortunately picked up by a more experienced LR mechanic

This place is fantastic. Guys, if you ever need a vehicle to just dissapear" these are the people you need to see. Did a fantastic job on the last ute. No witness
